FruitWare is our own internal top-secret cgi script making department and we make most of these scripts available to the general public, free of charge. You are free to copy, distribute and modify any of these scripts to suit your needs as long as you're a nice person who goes around doing good deeds for other people. Otherwise, fuck off and die.FRUIT WALL:Our famous FruitWall script is now available! After creating it over a year ago I've been asked many times to make it available for download. Well here it is, complete with instructions. If you want to see it in action, look on our main page near the top.FRUIT BBS:FruitBBS version 3.01 is a freeware web BBS system that you can use on your web page, assuming you have access to a cgi-bin directory. After trying out a half-zillion different web boards and finding they were all basically the same and not really all that great, I decided to create my own and since it turned out so damn spiffy, I'm releasing it to anyone else who wants to try it out.Longing for the good 'ole days of bbsing, I've tried to make this web board resemble a BBS as best as I can. You'll notice that all the posts are on ONE page rather than a few hundred separate links to different posts. Man, I hate those. Here are some features:

Since I get more e-mail than I can handle as it is, I won't be providing technical support for this script so do not ask me how to install it or how the options work. Everything should be explained in the readme file that comes with the script. Keep an eye out for version 2 one of these days. I plan to implement a better domain banning system, an optional login/registration and fix a few other minor annoying things. If you decide to use this script, drop me a note and maybe I'll link you from the this page. FRUIT CHAT:FruitCHAT is a freeware chat system for your web page. It
requires you to have access to a cgi-bin directory and that's all I
really feel like telling you right now. So there.
FRUIT LOG:FruitLOG will keep track of all the visitors on your site, using Server Side Includes. This is a very basic logging program but has a few good features. There are two separate log pages. One of them will list every single hit you get, show the domain name of the person who visited and tell you what URL they were on when they clicked to your page.The second log page is a list of clickable URLs. Everytime someone comes to your page, the URL they were at before being on your page will be listed here and you can click on it to see what kind of people are making links to your page. This log also weeds out all the stuff you don't really care about, such as hits from your own pages, people clicking on a link in their own bookmarks, search engine queries and clicks through people's private e-mail and usenet posts. (All of that is optional, of course.) |
